Pyrorex The Elemental Lord

March 5, 2013

Pyrorex The Elemental Lord is a Level 8 monster with 2800 ATK and 2200 DEF that cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Pyrorex The Elemental Lord cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand when you have exactly 5 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard. When Pyrorex The Elemental Lord is Special Summoned, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls and destroy it. Then both players lose life points equal to half of the original ATK of the destroyed monster. You can use this effect of Pyrorex The Elemental Lord once per turn meaning you can keep on destroying your opponent’s monsters and inflicting damage to your opponent (and yourself from the effect). However, Pyrorex The Elemental Lord can still attack even when it uses its effect. Now your opponent is going to most likely lose 2 monsters every turn. Your opponent will be eventually left wide open for a direct attack, and with Pyrorex The Elemental Lord’s effect depleting your opponent’s life points, your opponent is sure to lose in no time.

If your life points are very low, you can also use Pyrorex The Elemental Lord’s effect and have a Prime Material Dragon on your side of the field. Then you would gain any life points that you would have lost from the effect. Your opponent would gain life points as well, but with Bad Reaction To Simochi, you can make your opponent lose life point as well. Then you would gain life points while your opponent would lose life points giving you a huge advantage in the duel.
