Dark Illusion

Dark Illusion is a Counter Trap Card that negates the activation of any card effect that targets a face-up DARK monster. Then that card is destroyed. If you have a lot of DARK monsters in your Deck, chances are they will be targeted by a lot of card effects. Dark Illusion can prevent one of those effects from targeting one of your DARK monsters in a harmful way.

Summing It Up

Dark Illusion only works for a Deck with a lot of DARK monsters and goes perfect with Obsidian Dragon which is a DARK monster with a similar effect. If you want to protect your DARK monsters from harm, Dark Illusion is a good card to have in your Deck. However, Dark Illusion cannot protect your DARK monsters when more than 1 of them is being targeted by the same effect. Other than that, Dark Illusion is a great card that will strengthen your DARK Deck.
