Megamorph

November 8, 2012

Megamorph is an interesting Equip Spell Card because it can either be very helpful or very harmful to the equipped monster.

Megamorph is an Equip Spell Card that increases or decreases ATK based on each player’s life points. While your life points are lower than your opponent’s, the original ATK of the equipped monster is doubled. This allows you to do a lot of damage to your opponent which can eventually lead you to having more life points that your opponent. However, when you have more life points than your opponent, the original ATK of the equipped monster is halved. You must be careful of the consequences of having more life points than your opponent and have a Trap Card that could change the equipped monster to Defense Position.

Summing It Up

When you are losing, Megamorph makes the equipped monster very strong, but when you are winning, that same monster will be deprived of a lot of ATK points. Make sure you can change that monster into Defense Position if that were to occur because a monster with its ATK halved is a very vulnerable target, and you could lose a lot of life points. I would recommend Megamorph, but I would also be careful of possible consequences (especially if you draw it when you are already winning).
