Number 7: Lucky Straight

June 13, 2012

June 13, 2012, Card of the Day, Number 7: Lucky Straight

Number 7: Lucky Straight is a Rank 7 XYZ Monster with 700 ATK and 700 DEF that requires 3 Level 7 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Now why should 3 Level 7 monsters be used for a Rank 7 XYZ Monster with 700 ATK and 700 DEF? Well, you can detach 1 XYZ Material to roll a 6 sided dice TWICE. This card’s ATK becomes the larger number rolled times 700. If the total of the two dice rolls adds up to 7, then you can either send all other cards on the field to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 monster from your hand or from either players’ Graveyard, or draw 3 cared and then discard 2. So, in addition to the high ATK, you can either use a Graceful Charity effect, an advanced Monster Reborn effect, or an effect that sends all other cards on the field to the Graveyard. When cards are sent to the Graveyard, they are not destroyed, and there are so many Yugioh Cards that when destroyed have an added effect. These cards are not destroyed, but they are sent to the Graveyard.
