Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning VS Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End

February 11, 2012

Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning has always been a rare card that can be very pricey at times. Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning is worth the cost because of its effect. First of all, you can only play this card by means of Special Summoning and you can only Special Summon this card by banishing 1 DARK and 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard. So, it will not be hard to play this card if you have a DARK/LIGHT Deck. This card has 2 effects with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. You can use only 1 of these effects per turn (during your turns), but both are really good. You can banish 1 monster on the field, but Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning will not be able to attack that turn. You can choose to use its second effect in which Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning can bulldozer its way through your opponent’s monsters by attacking up to two times. If this card destroys a monster that your opponent controls, then it can attack again. Honestly, what monster could survive against the ATK of Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning

Burn, burn, burn! If you want your opponent to lose loads of life points, then this is the card for you.Like Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning, this card can also be only played by means of Special Summon and only by banishing 1 DARK and 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard. You can pay 1000 life points to clear everything in this card’s path (including itself). After you pay the cost, Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End SENDS everything to the Graveyard. Every card in both players’ hands and fields are demolished by this wrath known as Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End. Your opponent loses 300 life points for each card sent to the Graveyard by this effect (Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End counts). This card will make your opponent lose tons of life points, but if your opponent doesn’t lose the duel, then you lost 1000 life points and what happens if your opponent draws a strong Level 4 monster with a high ATK? Then you would lose a lot of points as well. If you want to use this effect, make sure that your opponent will lose all of his/her life points. I’ve had this card inflict 4200 points of damage to my opponents at some points, but at others, I did not beat my opponent and he/she drew a good monster.

WHO IS BETTER? YOU DECIDE! PLEASE COMMENT!

So, who wins? Is Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning better than Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End or is it the other way around? Both have the same ATK/DEF and they both have sweet effects. So, who is better? You get to decide! Please comment!
