Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4

February 5, 2012

February 5, 2012, Card of the Day, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4

Here is the card.

Summary:

The control of this card cannot be switched. That doesn’t mean that you can’t change this card’s Battle Position. This part of Horus the Black Flamed Dragon LV4’s effect means that cards like Change of Heart will not work on this card. Then, during your End Phase, if this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 from your hand or Deck! With 1600 ATK and 1000 DEF, this card is likely to destroy 1 monster. Also, for you to know, Horus the Black Flame Dragon is unaffected by Spell Cards and Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 can destroy any Spell Card that you want! So, every time this card moves up 2 levels, it gets stronger and an enhanced effect every time!

Rating:

This card deserves believe it or not 5 stars because this method is the easiest way to get a powerful monster to your side of the field that is immune to Spell Cards! You opponent cannot spoil your Horus the Black Flamed Dragon LV4 moving up to the next level because he/she cannot use cards like Change of Heart on this card! So, the only way for this card not to go up the next level are card effects and a stronger monster! When you do make this card a Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, then it gets even better! Now you have a 2300 ATK monster immune to Spell Cards! Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 will then destroy any Spell Card that you want. That means you can still play your own Spell Cards and destroy your opponent’s Spell Cards! Now, your opponent is limited to Monster and Trap Cards (Trap Cards won’t be so hard for Jinzo)!
