Mirror Ladybug

Mirror Ladybug is a Level 1 monster with  100 ATK and 100 DEF that can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control at least 1 face-up monster and have no monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, its Level becomes equal to the total Levels of all other monsters you control. If you draw this card on the first turn of the duel, you can Normal Summon a monster, and then you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Mirror Ladybug will automatically become the Level of the monster on your side of the field, and then you can XYZ Summon or Synchro Summon depending if the Normal Summoned monster is a Tuner. If this card’s Level is higher than 12, it is destroyed. The only flaw with this card is that you can’t have any monsters in your Graveyard. However, by banishing monsters from your Graveyard with cards like Soul Release, you will be easily able to use this card’s effect.

Splendid Venus

Splendid Venus is a Level 8 monster with 2800 ATK and 2400 DEF that makes all non-Fairy-Type monsters lose 500 ATK and 500 DEF. Since Splendid Venus is a Fairy-Type monster, it won’t be affected by this effect, and non-Fairy-Type monsters will be easier for this card to destroy. The major benefit of this card is that the activation and effects of your Spell and Trap Cards cannot be negated. If you have a Continuous Trap Card on your side of the field, and your opponent Summons a Jinzo, the effect of that Continuous Trap Card won’t be negated since Splendid Venus is on your side of the field. Stardust Dragon’s effect will not be able to be used to negate the activation and destroy any of your Spell or Trap Cards.

Lavalval Chain

Lavalval Chain is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster with 1800 ATK and 1000 DEF that requires 2 Level 4 monsters as the XYZ Materials. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to send 1 card from your Deck to your Graveyard or choose 1 monster from your Deck and place it on the top of your Deck. By sending a monster to the Graveyard, you can use Monster Reborn to Special Summon it to your side of the field or meet a requirement such as having exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard for Dark Armed Dragon. There are some cards that benefit when you have more cards in your Graveyard, so that could be another way Lavalval Chain’s effect can be very helpful. If you need a monster from the bottom of your Deck, you can easily put it to the top of your Deck instead of waiting to draw that card. With Lavalval Chain, you can either send a card from your Deck to the Graveyard or put a monster on the top of your Deck, but both of these effects can be very beneficial.

Crane Crane

Crane Crane is a Level 3 monster with 300 ATK and 900 DEF with a very good effect. When Crane Crane is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 monster from your Graveyard, but its effect(s) are negated. The main part of this effect is Special Summoning a Level 3 monster which has the same Level as Crane Crane. You can automatically XYZ Summon a Rank 3 XYZ Monster which will be much stronger than Crane Crane’s 300 ATK. There are a lot of XYZ Monsters that are very strong, and all of them are easy to play. Crane Crane allows you to easily XYZ Summon a monster, and the more cards you have in your Deck that allow you to easily XYZ Summon monsters, the easier it will be to win the duel.

The Supremacy Sun

If you have some money to spend on Yugioh Cards, The Supremacy Sun is the card to get. The Supremacy Sun is a Level 10 monster with 3000 ATK and 3000 DEF with a very simple but really good effect. The Supremacy Sun cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. During the next Standby Phase after this face-up card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. The ability to constantly being able to Special Summon a monster with 3000 ATK from your Graveyard when it is destroyed just by discarding 1 card from your hand will guarantee the ability to have a strong monster on your side of the field.

Depth Amulet

Depth Amulet is a Continuous Trap Card that can negate the attack of one of your opponent’s monsters if you discard 1 card from your hand. This card’s effect can be used multiple times each turn as long as you have cards in your hand, and this card is destroyed during your opponent’s 3rd End Phase after activation. This card’s effect seems to be really good, but if you rely on this card to protect your life points, you will have to discard a lot of cards from your hand. Discarding too many cards will result in you being unable to put enough cards on the field. Those cards will then be held back so you can discard them with Depth Amulet’s effect. When Depth Amulet is destroyed and your opponent plays more monsters, you will have 1 card in your hand, and there are few cards in the game that can destroy all monsters on your opponent’s side of the field. Depth Amulet is a great card to have in your Deck, but it is not a card to depend on.

Bachibachibachi

Bachibachibachi is a Level 3 Insect-Type monster with 800 ATK and 800 DEF that enhances the value of an XYZ Monster that was Summoned by using this card on the field as an XYZ Material. If that is the case, the equipped XYZ Monster is able to inflict piercing damage to your opponent when it attacks a Defense Position monster. If you are able to Special Summon a Rank 3 XYZ Monster with a lot of ATK points such as Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (it can increase its ATK to 2500 by detaching the other XYZ Material), your opponent will lose a lot of life points from Bachibachibachi’s effect.

Blaze Fenix, The Burning Bombardment Bird

Blaze Fenix, The Burning Bombardment Bird is a Fusion Monster with 2800 ATK and 2300 DEF that requires 1 Machine-Type monster and 1 Pyro-Type monster as the Fusion Materials. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card on the field. This effect is very similar to Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End’s effect except it doesn’t target cards in the hand and it can be used again and again! When you use this card’s effect, it won’t be able to attack during the turn you activate this effect, so make sure there are a lot of cards on the field when this card uses its effect or there is no good reason to attack with this card.

Demotion

Demotion is an Equip Spell Card that downgrades the monster equipped with this card by 2 Levels. This card can make XYZ Summoning or Synchro Summoning a monster much easier. If you have a Level 4 and a Level 2 monster, you can downgrade the Level 4 monster to a Level 2 monster so you can XYZ Summon a Rank 2 XYZ Monster. By downgrading the Level of a monster by 2, you give yourself more options for Summoning a much stronger monster from your Extra Deck.

Big Wave Small Wave

Big Wave Small Wave is a Spell Card that allows you to destroy all face-up WATER monsters on your side of the field. This card then allows you to Special Summon WATER monsters from your hand up to the same number of monsters destroyed by this effect. If you have 2 Level 4 WATER monsters on your side of the field and 2 Level 8 WATER monsters in your hand, you can use Big Wave Small Wave to send those 2 Level 4 WATER monsters to your Graveyard to Special Summon 2 Level 8 WATER monsters from your hand. This card allows you to get stronger WATER monsters on your side of the field by destroying your other WATER monsters.

Giant Rat

Giant Rat is a Level 4 monster with 1400 ATK and 1450 DEF that allows you to Special Summon 1 EARTH monster from your Deck when this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. The Special Summoned EARTH monster can’t have more than 1500 ATK and must be Special Summoned to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position. This effect allows you to have an extra monster on your side of the field which can protect you from losing a lot of life points. Giant Rat’s effect can also be used on any EARTH monster with 1500 or less ATK of any Level. A Level 10 EARTH monster with a good effect that has 1500 ATK or less can easily be Special Summoned by Giant Rat’s effect.

Infernity Beetle

Infernity Beetle is a Level 2 Tuner with 1200 ATK and 0 DEF whose effect can only be activated when you have no cards in your hand. When you have no cards in your hand, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon up to 2 Infernity Beetles from your Deck. There is no sense in having 2 Infernity Beetles in your Deck because you’ll only be able to Special Summon 1 Infernity Beetle with this card’s effect which would leave you right where you started with no cards in your hand. If you want to use this card’s effect, I highly recommend having 3 of these cards in your Deck so you get 2 monsters from this card’s effect. You can then XYZ Summon a Rank 2 monster or Synchro Summon a monster if you have other Synchro Materials on the field.

Grasschopper

Grasschopper is a Level 5 Gemini monster with 2350 ATK and 1000 DEF. When Grasschopper is Gemini Summoned, it has the ability to attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. With 2350 ATK, Grasschopper will be able to destroy a lot of those monsters and has the potential to make your opponent lose a lot of life points. If this card is able to destroy all of your opponent’s monsters with its effect, then your other monsters will be able to attack your opponent’s life points directly. The only reason this card isn’t in as many people’s Decks is because this card is a Gemini monster that requires a Gemini Summon before it goes from a Normal Monster to an Effect Monster. Do you think an extra Summon worth a good effect?

Debunk

Debunk is a Counter Trap Card that allows you to negate the activation of an Effect Monster’s effect that activates in the hand or in the Graveyard and banish that monster. If your opponent Special Summons a monster from his/her hand such as The Tricky, you can use Debunk to banish that monster. If your opponent uses a card’s effect that activates in the Graveyard such as Stardust Dragon (when it gets Special Summoned), you can banish it with this card. Stardust Dragon won’t be able to use its effect again since Debunk banishes the monster (Stardust Dragon’s effect can only be used if the monster is being sent to the Graveyard).

Damage Polarizer

Damage Polarizer is a Counter Trap Card that can be activated when an effect that inflicts damage is activated. With this card, you can negate the activation and effect of that card, and then, each player draws 1 card. If you have no cards in your hand, you can activate a card that would inflict damage, use this card to negate it, and then both players would draw 1 card. This is not the most ideal method of drawing a card from your Deck in that scenario, but it proves that Damage Polarizer has multiple functions as a Counter Trap Card.
